Homemade Mayonnaise

Have you ever tried making your own mayonnaise?

I hadn’t until I discovered how easy it is! All you need is an immersion blender, a snug-fitting jar, and a few ingredients.

What’s the secret to creamy, thick, and delicious mayonnaise? Blend slowly and let it emulsify beautifully.

Homemade Whipped Cream

This is easily one of the simplest recipes on the blog! I’ve been making homemade whipped cream since I was 12 years old,21 years ago as of January 5th (time really flies!).

Why make whipped cream yourself? It’s thicker than store-bought, customizable to your taste, and free from unnecessary additives.

What to Do About Unwanted Body Odour?

Switching from conventional deodorant to a homemade alternative can sometimes lead to unpleasant odors during the transition. Don’t worry! This simple detox can help.
With just two ingredients and 15 minutes, you can eliminate unwanted odors and start fresh.

Homemade Spaghetti Bolognese Sauce

As a family of five with three young children and two working parents, providing healthy, home-cooked dinners isn’t always easy. Every Monday, we work from home at my mother-in-law’s house—she watches the kids while Tom and I get things done.

It's a blessing! By the time we drive home and finish dinner with the kids before their 7 PM bedtime, there’s little time left for cooking.

This recipe is a lifesaver! I make it once a month and freeze three portions for quick, delicious dinners later.

Homemade Yogurt

There are many ways to make homemade yogurt, but my favorite is with an Instant Pot. Don’t have one? No problem! You can find one on Amazon using my recommended link or try a different method, like using a Dutch oven. To make it simple, I’ve included two recipes: one for the Instant Pot and another for the Dutch oven.

In this video, I’ll show you how to make a delicious croque madame. It was a lovely Saturday, just the family and me, so what better way to enjoy it than with a late brunch together?
